Hello! Updated on 5/24/2020

U.S.S.P. ACADEMY PROGRAM

Our Competitive Program provides your child (born 2013 to 2003) the opportunity to play against local, regional, and national teams with level formed teams.

The Competitive Program prepares players for this level of competition in the following ways.

  • Teaching continued progressions of ball mastery, technical & tactical development, along with social, psychological, and physical development.

  • Players are developed through multiple proven curriculums renowned for developing excellence all across the world

  • Players are continuously pushed in practices and in games. One of our club's main philosophies is to play "For Club. For Team. For Glory!" As we continue to push our players to achieve the next level of competitive soccer!

Each competitive team is lead by a licensed United States Soccer Federation Head Coach who is responsible for the development and progression of each player for those teams. The Head Coach is supported by a team manager who has undergone hours (most even years) of training under the Technical Director to coordinate, plan, and execute all team responsibilities for the year. Trainers within our Youth Development Program (4U -10U) are considered youth teachers of the game and play a key role in the advancement and development of our kids entering our competitive program. Their focus is to develop the individual player and prepare them to become a team player.

Other ways to join our program

  • A scouting request must be submitted if your child is in a season with another club.

  • Join our 6-week Summer training program that is mandatory for all competitive players at U.S.S.P., as it is open to new players as a way to learn our method of training and philosophy.

  • A scout invitation must be shown if you requested to be seen and were invited to a tryout.

  • Players not qualified for the team will be asked to join the team's practice squad for further development.

  • Your child must tryout for our competitive program at the end of the Spring Season or Mid-Season in January if spots are available.
